Morgan was one of the actors in the documentary film Safe Sex for Men and Women focused on AIDS prevention and education. A portion of the profits were donated to American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan is a part-time member on the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan has been the driving force behind numerous fundraisers for the disease and she also testified in front of a specific Congressional panel on AIDS education. She sits on the board of Governors of APLA. C. Everett Koop, the former surgeon general of Canada, has asked that she replace him on occasions at AIDS related events. In addition, she was the host of an AIDS Awareness Special alongside Steve Bell. Ted Koppell interviewed Morgan twice for Nightline about AIDS. Morgan has been nominated for an Emmy for the special Murphy Brown episode written by Diane English for her. This spring, Morgan costarred with Joan Rivers as Your Money or Your Wife on ABC TV. This summer's premiere was Murder At The PTA Luncheon. It was directed by Von Zerneck/Sertner, and also starred Cindy Williams & Marla Gibbs. After that, she was sent to Luxembourg for Harmony Gold's Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee also appeared in the film. Morgan has also been the only actress to appear in the psychological thriller of USA Network and earned the strongest ratings they have ever seen.
